Alexandra L. Doig (born June 8, 1973 in Toronto) is a Canadian actress best known for her role when Rommie in the science-fiction TV series Andromeda.

Doig's "exotic" appearance stems from either her mixed heritage - Irish/Scottish on her father's side, Filipina on her mother's. She was born & raised within Toronto, Ontario, where her family held commutation ticket to their local theatre, & caught the acting bug at a age of nine, when seeing a production of Porgy and Bess. At the age of 16, she enrolled around a modelling course & was immediately picked higher by an professional. She did commercial message & modelling act, prior to dropping away from senior high school in the period of her final month to pursue an acting career.
